LaGuardia Airport (closest large New York airport)
- Car rental – 45 min to hour drive to Fairfield
- Red Dot Shuttle – https://www.ridethedot.com/ (around $60 per person) and drops off at the Westport Inn (one of our hotels)
- Uber - $110 average
JFK International Airport (NY)
- All options above apply – airport is about a 15 or 20 min longer drive to Fairfield
- Can also take Airtrain to Jamaica/Penn and then take a train from Grand Central (Metro North East Line) to CT
Westchester County Airport (white plains NY)
- Closest airport – but it’s smaller and has limited flight options
- 35 min drive to Fairfield
Bradley International Airport (CT)
- Hour and 10 min drive to Fairfield
Newark NJ Airport (NJ)
- Hour and 30 – 2 hour drive
- You can take train to Penn Station from Newark – then go to Grand Central and take Metro North to CT

By train from New York:

Metro-North Railroad - Grand Central Terminal (42nd Street and Park Avenue)
For those coming from NYC, Fairfield is easily accessible via the New Haven East Line out of Grand Central Terminal
Tickets can be purchased at Grand Central for between $12.50 and $16.25 (one way)
Train is anywhere from 50 min to hour and ten min depending on the time.
