THE LOVE STORY OF JAY AND KATE

Jay and Kate met on Thursday, October 31, 2013, under purple lit trees at a big party in California, at Santa Anita Race Track,  Both Jay and Kate were starting new jobs and had taken the week before to attend the Breeders' Cup in Los Angeles. Jay and Kate were each told separately, "there's someone you should meet this weekend," but not told who, by their dear friends, Heather Higgins and Peggy Gdovka. Kate met Jay and immediately thought he was handsome! Jay asked Kate if he could get her a drink and they ended up talking for hours, finally realizing everyone had left them at the party. Jay, supposed to fly to San Diego the next morning to visit his good friend, Matt Darin, ended up changing his flight and staying three extra days in California with Kate. The two had instant chemistry, but were living on opposite coasts - Jay in San Fransisco and Kate in New York City. Luckily, Jay took a job in New York a year later (Kate may have had something to do with this decision :)) and in-between the two talked frequently and took trips to see each other. Ever since, Jay has been in New York the two have been smitten, enjoying each others company, adventures around the world, and time with those they love the most.
